BIOGRAPHY

Beau was born in Sydney Australia and has for as long as he can remember been in some way or another involved in motorsport or had his hands on something mechanical at every stage of his life. 

Growing up Beau showed talent behind the wheel from a young age in his go kart, he then moved on to dirt bikes through his teenage years and as time progressed and as soon as he could, Beau purchased his very first car, a Datsun 1200 coupe!

In 2003 Beau swapped his best mate his DR30 for his Toyota Sprinter AE86 and you could say never looked back. He has been a Toyota man ever since and did his first private track day in 2003 with Initial Drift at Oran Park, Sydney. Beau was instantly hooked on drifting and with the support of his wife, Bec and close friends and family he has been able to devoted his life for his passion of drifting.

In 2006 Beau won the Drift Australia National series and became the first CAMS- affiliated drift driver. In 2006 with another major achievement he became the first Toyota Australia Drift ambassador. Late in 2008, with the national series collapsing Beau decided to take a couple of years off which allowed him to complete his trade as a fitter machinist.

In his off period Beau competed yearly at World Time Attack – Tectaloy Drift Challenge. In 2013 he announced his return by resigning with Toyota Australia once again but a game changer for Beau was that he would be making his return in a brand new Toyota 86 retaining the stock 2.0L flat four in which Beau would build from the ground up! It has been through hard work and dedication that Beau has been able to continue to compete in his chosen discipline.

Beau is always on the track to better his drifting skills and build on new and existing relationship with other drivers in the drifting community both on and off the track. With the sport of drifting inevitability moving forward as with any sport, Beau will always appreciate the history of drifting and where he started to the fortunate position he finds himself in now competing in his new 86.
